Before

It’s getting more and more common for men to be concerned about their appearance, or at least admit to it. In the last few years the famous Thermage treatments for men are becoming increasingly popular for basically the same reasons that women are attracted to the many Thermage Procedures. There is little down time, it’s a relatively fast and painless procedure, and the results look natural.

After Thermager

The same Themage treatments for women are available for men, with saggy, or heavy eyelids, lines and wrinkles on the face and neck being the major concerns for men.

Hope for People with Dark Under Eye Circles

November 10, 2011 by

How many of us have lived with dark circles under our eyes, and just not thought anything about what is causing them or how we can remedy the problems without using a coverup makeup routine? Some people have the problem due to poor circulation beneath the lower eye lids, some due to darkened pigment or hollow depressions beneath the lower eyelids and some due to whats called vascular pooling.

Dr. Lisa Zdinak, MD, Chief Surgeon and Director of Precision Aesthetics, in Upper Manhattan, New York, has been instrumental in the initial introduction and raving success of the popular Carboxytherapy Treatments to her worldwide clientele for the treatment of dark under eye circles, cellulite and stretch mark problems. By injecting small amounts of carbon dioxide gas just below the surface of the skin, causes increased blood circulation to that particular area. Carboxytherapy is used for the treatment of dark under-eye circles, stretch-marks, cellulite reduction, and non-surgical fat sculpting on the face and the body.

The treatment takes about 5 minutes and is painless and risk free. Usually it takes 2-6 treatments to achieve the best results.

Facelift Procedure

September 1, 2011 by

THE BAD NEWS:
As we grow older, we all experience the breakdown of the collagen that provides structure to our face. This happens faster in some people than it does in others, however we all will experience this at some time. When this happens, we’ll begin to notice fine lines and wrinkles forming on our faces, around our eyes, nose, neck and other areas.

THE GOOD NEWS:
Today, the Thermage Facelift procedure has become the answer to many of these problems by stimulating the growth of new collagen. The popular procedure reduces wrinkles and renews facial contours and is achieved without any surgery, and very little downtime on the patients part. The most common benefits of using the Thermage Facelift procedure is achieving tighter skin and renewing your natural facial contouring. This procedure can smooth out wrinkles, leaving you with a more radiant and younger looking appearance. The Thermage Facelift procedure can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on how large of an area being treated. The Thermage Facelift procedure has been referred to as the “lunch hour facelift”, allowing the patient to return to work looking like a new person and feeling good inside also. Thermage is performed by trained and certified physicians in their medical offices. Check the Yellow Pages or go online to find the nearest Thermage physician to you.

Solution for Baggy Eyes

August 24, 2011 by

A fairly new solution to an age old problem is now available through Thermage.
Up to recently the only solution for under eye bags has been through surgery or a face lift procedure. In the last few years, Thermage treatments have become more and more popular for treating this condition.  Under eye bags is a problem that many of us have, but surgery, or a face lift, is not what we want to solve the problem.

The new and popular Thermage technology tightens and contours the skin to create a smoother tone and more youthful appearance, and the positive results can be seen almost immediately and improvements to the skin’s texture and appearance will continue as new collagen grows, often for up to several months. This Thermage Procedure is short, depending on how severe the problem is, and a session will usually take about 20 minutes to 2 hours.

The Thermage Procedures are FDA approved and are only performed in the offices of certified physicians. To find the nearest certified physician, go online or look in the local Yellow Pages and get started to not only looking better, but feeling better and regaining that old self confidence you once had.

The treatment is not painful, and it is a one-time procedure performed after a small amount of numbing cream has been applied to the skin. Since my specialty is oculoplastic surgery, I perform this procedure in my office at least twice a day with optimal results that last approximately eight months to one year.

Genuine Dermaroller Microneedling System

August 15, 2011 by

When the long awaited Genuine Dermaroller and Beauty Mouse from Germany made its debut in New York City at Precision Aesthetics, the director – Lisa A. Zdinak, M.D., had no idea that the popularity of the microneedling system would grow to what it has become today.

The Genuine Dermaroller and Beauty Mouse is a superior alternative to Laser treatments for reversing sun damage and aging skin. The Genuine Dermaroller microneedling system consists of a cosmetic home-use model for the face, and the Beauty Mouse Dermaroller for the body (available only through a physician), and more advanced treatments are available that can be performed within the physician’s office by a licensed medical doctor.

Microneedling has its origins in acupuncture and has gained medical attention over the past two decades as a method to use at home for allowing product penetration deeper into the skin surface. The home-use cosmetic Dermaroller has 192 micro-fine needles that are 0.15 mm in length, just the perfect length to exfoliate the superficial epidermis. Since the nerves are located well below this level, Dermarolling doesn’t hurt, it just tickles! The Genuine Dermaroller is an FDA approved medical device that can only be purchased through a physician.  The genuine Dermaroller is not available for purchase on the internet, and Dr. Zdinak is the only physician in New York City with the Genuine Dermaroller.  The Home-Use Genuine Dermaroller is available for purchase through Dr. Zdinaks office at 212-799-1311.

Carboxytherapy Treatment: For Stretchmarks And More

August 12, 2011 by

Tropocollagen triple helix.

Up to very recently, stretch marks were pretty much untreatable no matter what method you tried.  Carboxy Therapy is gaining in popularity and showing great promise by softening stretch marks by increasing the blood flow to the stretch mark areas and allowing them to constrict and contract, thus blending them better with the surrounding healthy skin. Injecting very small amounts of carbon dioxide gas just below the surface of the skin, the procedure tricks it (the skin) into increasing blood circulation in the treated area. Carboxytherapy causes the formation of new collagen and subsequently thickens the skin to improve the appearance of the stretch marks by rebuilding the collagen matrix.

Carboxytherapy is being used as a treatment for dark under eye circle smoothing and removal also, and with good success.  The treatment of stretch marks and scars is a relatively fast and painless process. This popular procedure is allowing people to start feeling better about themselves on the inside, by looking better on the outside.
